Junior Formula 1000 Rally Championship

The Junior Formula 1000 Rally Championship allows young drivers aged 14 to 17 to compete on rallies nationwide.

Launched in 2009, the Championship grew rapidly, finishing the 2010 season with more than 30 registered competitors. Ashley Slights and Cameron Davies claimed the inaugural 2009 title, with Cameron securing a second Championship win the following year.

Many of our young drivers have progressed at 17 into senior motorsport, with several now competing successfully in the World Rally Championship, European Rally Championship, British Rally Championship, the BTRDA Rally Series and many other high profile championships.

“The F1000 Rally Club isn’t just a championship — it’s a pathway. We give young drivers a place to learn, grow, and believe in themselves, and we do it with the support of families, volunteers, and organisers who care deeply about the sport. Watching these competitors take their first steps in junior rallying and then progress with confidence is the reason we do what we do.”
